The Cedar House Chalet and Restaurant south of Golden is a very quaint location for weddings. Andrea and Scott recited their vows in front of their very close friends and family at the Cedar House view point. The view point patio over looks the Purcell mountains towering above the Columbia wet lands. An amazing back drop. I arrived at the Cedar House Chalets in the pouring rain, which cleared just before the ceremony, typical mountain weather. Their son Brady was in charge of the rings and making sure Mom and Dad got the cuddles they need during their ceremony. Children were a huge part of their day and capturing those fleeting playful moments was a priority for the couple. The kids where amazing and after the ceremony they were able to run free through the woods and beautifully manicured grounds. The guests were treated to sparkling refreshments and delicious appetizers while the newly wed couple and I took portraits. Many smiles and tones of laughter during this celebration of love.
Andrea and Scott fell in love in the mountains. Scott is from Australia and met Andrea during a winter working holiday in Fernie, where the two bonded over their passion for the mountains. Their journey together started as an adventure and I am sure will continue as such.
Amy Congratulations on capturing such beautiful photos for Andrea and Scott.
