Amy was easy to get along with, even offering to meet us during a visit to Golden in advance of our wedding. She was very knowledgeable about photo taking spots at our venue which made for incredible photos. She was patient with our wedding parties and family with all of the photo combinations. She captured the most perfect amazing golden hour photos after our dinner. We appreciated the teaser photos and quick turnaround on the finished set of photo files. We would look forward to hiring Amy for family or other photos again during a visit to Golden. As I look through all the photos to figure out which ones to print as a thank you to family and guests and for us, I am blown away by how perfectly she captured our outdoor ceremony at Eagle Eye, the ski down with 45 of our guests (not an easy feat!), and the reception at White Tooth Grill. But even more importantly, as someone that is not the most comfortable with being photographed, Amy made the entire experience feel so natural! It felt more like she was our friend and was so fun to work with! And as avid skiers, the icing on the cake for us was the fact that Amy is former ski patroller who definitely knows her way around the mountain! We opted to use our engagement session 2 days before the wedding to have Amy get some incredible shots of us skiing. This was a highlight for us and we are so grateful for her expertise both as a skier and a photographer! Without having to go up to the top of kickinghorse, Amy was able to create stunning and dramatic photos from the village on the hill with the mountain and snow landscape. Could not have asked for better photos (which are now blown up in canvases and hanging on my wall). Photos from getting ready, having fun with bridal party, and the ceremony were all excellent. To top that off, Amy’s pricing was terrific and she knew just what to say to ensure we turned out our best in the photos (which is something we def needed!). Amy spent more time with us than I expected and was a complete pleasure to work with. We came to Golden for a few nights and only two weeks before thought it might be nice to book some family portraits. Luckily for us, the downturn in large events meant Amy was available. She accommodated our son's nap schedule and made it very easy by coming to us for an hourlong shoot on the property we'd rented for the weekend. Using the natural landscape and her years of experience working with families, she got some absolutely stunning shots of our pouty toddler and even managed to crack some smiles out of him by the end of the session. She let us feel really natural just throwing stones in the river and checking out wildflowers while she snapped away in the background. Amy was the most amazing photographer I could have imagined. She was so much fun to have as part of our day, and convinced us to take photos I would have never thought of but they turned out amazing. I didn't cry on my wedding day but I cried when I saw my photos. She was also very quick at getting them done. I was expecting to wait at least a few weeks but had then in just over a week. I would recommend her to anyone needing photos and would use her for anything/everything
