N & R New Years Eve Elopement

Natasha and Ryder contacted me on Dec 28th to capture their elopement. They were stopping in Golden for New Years Eve on their way home to central B.C. from Alberta. They have been wanting to get married for a while now but this was a last minute decision for them, an actual true elopement. It seems that New Years Eve was ideal timing. There were only 3 of us who knew their plan, myself, Alaina the wedding commissioner and Natasha’s best friend.

We decided that the confluence park in Golden B.C. right beside the Columbia river, would be a beautiful location. Natasha and Ryder had two of their seven dogs join us for the ceremony. Fur babies are family too and these working dogs were so well behaved. We have been having a very mild and dry winter but it decided to snow just during their ceremony to make it even more magical.

Instead of exchanging rings Natasha and Ryder decided to get feather tattoos on their ring fingers. The lovely folks at Tree Eye Ink opened their doors during their holiday to accommodate the lovely couples vision. Now Natasha and Ryder had one more thing to celebrate ringing in the New Year.
