Angelica and Carter are as lovely as two humans can be. I was thrilled when they asked me to capture their engagements. Coming from Edmonton they wanted the idyllic mountain photos.
They chose a day out of their romantic get away at Emerald Lake Lodge to come to Golden. We had planned a sunset session on top of Mt 7. It wasn’t till that day that the smoke started to roll in. It can be very difficult to plan a mountain top or any other session in the summer these days. You never know what your going to get but you have no choice but to make the most of what is there.
I had a stunning couple and moody skys. Angelica and Carter enjoyed this moment. As the sun was fading and we were praying for the skys to clear we would catch glimpses of the Columbia river and a few of the surrounding peaks, like Mt 7. The fire weed added a splash of color we were missing from the sun set. Which I found ironic. It truly was about capturing the love these two have for each other and that was endless.
