Kiersten and Scott had a lovely Wednesday wedding at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a balmy summer day on the patio at the Eagle Eye restaurant where the couple said ‘I do’. The weather was typical mountain variety of wind, rain, sun and rainbows. It was the couples and their guests first time to the resort. They were all awe struck by the scenery and swooned by the hospital;ity. After the ceremony we captured the family all together then Kiersten , Scott and I went for walk along a ridge that overlooks the Dog Tooth range and the Columbia River. We were fortunate enough to capture a rainbow as it faded and only get rained on a wee bit.
Kiersten and Scott drove out from Ontario with their children and made their destination wedding a holiday with the family. Renting a couple houses (from Lush Accommodations)at the base of KHMR for a few days they were able to enjoy the sights around Golden and have quality time with their guests. They hosted the receptions at one of these houses and it was catered by The Whitetooth Bistro from Golden.
