J&G @ Stewart Creek Canmore

Jamie and Garrett met at their friends wedding, they were both in the wedding party. They got on really well and some say even flirted a bit during the photos. Then the pandemic hit. They got to know each other well during this time, like everyone else it was mostly via zoom and talking on the phone. They fell deep for each other.

Stewart Creek Golf and country club in Canmore Alberta was stunning host for Jamie and Garrett’s wedding, We lucked out and had fabulous weather for this mid October, Rocky Mountain wedding. The ceremony tent at Stewart Creek over looks the Golf course. Jamie and Garrett shared their vows under a beautiful timber frame arch handcrafted by one of their friends. There were a few tears between the two of them and many laughs with everyone. The first kiss was promptly followed  by a Champagne toast. After everyones thirst was quenched we jumped in with Open Top Tours who was the limo service for the day. It was definitely the way to travel from one photography location to the next with sixteen in the bridal party. Jamie and Garrett had all the thoughtful details worked out. Everyone worked up a thirst and an appetite during our photos. So we headed back to Stewart Creek for dinner.

The guests were enjoying cocktails in the dinning room while waiting for dinner to be served. It was definitely worth the wait. During speeches everyone indulged in Jamies favorite desert from their friends Gelato Company ‘Not Gelato’. They had a fun photo booth set up and a telephone guest book that you could leave well wishes for the Bride and Groom. The first dance was impressive to watch as Garrett swung Jamie around the dance floor. Revolution entertainment filled the floor up and got the party started.  That is when I took my leave.
