Hillside Lodge and chalets was the stunning backdrop for Alex and Gareths nuptials. A moody Rocky Mountain forecast of partial rain with sun and cloud is all luck with the timing. I arrived early to capture bridal party shenanigans and primping.
Family and friends gathered on the look out over the Kicking Horse river to witness the couples personal vows that brought laughter and tears.
After the ceremony we captured bridal party portraits in the rain. But only for a moment and then it cleared just in time for yard games. Most guests were gathered in the Barn enjoying a cocktail served by Good Libations. Dinner was prepared by Smoke House 57. An amazing spread.
Speeches brought down the barn with a flood of laughter and tears. Followed closely by the cutting of the cake. Cake made with so much love by the mother of the groom. Dances were had with flare and fun and the barn shook.
We captured some sunset portraits and then I made my exit as the party got started.
