Shannon & Dylan @ Emerald Lake Lodge

Shannon and Dylan planned their micro wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge three years ago. After postponing last year they were so grateful to have their very close friends and family witness their nuptials in such a beautiful location. Shannon and Dylan traveled from Ontario to have their dream wedding in the Rocky Mountains. Their dream was inspired by Dylans Mom, Donna, who eloped at Emerald Lake Lodge 5 years ago. She was thrilled how I captured her elopement so she hired me to capture her sons.

Shannon and Dylan wanted a reveal and time together before their ceremony. So Shannon and I ventured to the edge of the resort where the hiking trails begin and Dylan was waiting. These sweethearts couldn’t keep the tears back when they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. Three years of waiting welled up in their eyes. We snuck in few photos and these love birds had a quiet moment before the ceremony.

The ceremony site overlooks Emerald Lake where the guests get to take in the magic views of the Rocky Mountains and all the boats paddling by. Shannon and Dylan had their loved ones laughing threw tears as they shared their personal vows. Everyone was beyond joyful with the day. After the ceremony we took a little walk to capture more photos as husband and wife.

Shannon and Dylans family and friends were staying in Golden so they planned to have their reception at The Island Restaurant. I am sure the food was amazing and spending time with family priceless.
