Karen and Kevin are are two lovely souls who call Golden home. So when it came time for them to plan their wedding they new that it could not be anywhere else. Being part of a community you’re getting married in has its perks. For instance knowing the helicopter pilot because of their volunteer time with SAR made it easier to fly 12 people into the mountains for the first look. Especially since there was 25cm of new snow the night before on June 7th. Their ceremony location was very intimate on the lawn at their friends house over looking the Columbia wetlands and the Purcell mountains. We could see across the valley where we had flown that morning. The reception took place at the Golden Civic Centre. It is a great venue for parties especially when you have Golden Dreams Wedding Coordination taking care of all the details.. The catering and bar were looked after by Columbia River Catering co. Dinner was delicious. Sound and music was supplied by DJ Mahajic Touch and she had everyone on the floor having a great time. It was a tough party to leave but it had been a very full day and I had many photos to go through. Here are a few, Enjoy!!
