Golden Golf Club is said to be one of the most scenic courses in B.C. and that was obvious as the backdrop for Gillian and Simons wedding. The guests were in awe by the surrounding Purcell mountains and of course the stunning bride. Gillians dress was her Grandmothers and her Mother and Aunt also wore it on their wedding day. She had a friend make a few alterations to personalize it for her self. All the bouquets where made by her mother, I loved the local cedar in them. A slightly overcast day at the end of summer was ideal. The Golden Golf Club was not overly busy with golfers so we were able to sneak a few pictures in at the most scenic tees. Then my self and the wedding party traveled to the confluence Park in Golden to capture a few more portraits before just Gillian, Simon and I drove to Thompson Falls. The Blaeberry river did not disappoint with its spectacular blue brilliance raging. I very cautiously danced around these two as they had their first moments alone as husband and wife. (kinda alone). Their adventurous spirit was apparent when they took to climbing down the rock to certain locations by the river. So much fun. It was such a lovely time but alas the party was waiting. Gillian and Simon had their reception at the Wolfs Den in Golden. When we arrived all the guests were enjoying the patio and the appetizers that were being served up. The inside looked amazing with white linen on all the tables and touches of cedar boughs through out. Dinner smelled delicious as the kitchen was fixing up a burger bar, a make your own situation. Perfect for this crowd. Hair and makeup by Reflections Hair studio
