Celeste & Darcy @ Kicking Horse Mtn.

Celeste and Darcy chose Kicking Horse Mtn. as their location for their wedding because they love spending time here. They often come out from Alberta in the Winter and Summer to play in the mountains and every time they go back home they leave a bit of their hearts here. So of course it was the best place to join them together and share their passion with family and friends. The mountains have been moody all summer and I have been loving it. The cooler temps and obscure sky’s are quite enjoyable for photographing. This day was just that especially with these peeps.

Married on the Eagle Eye terrace overlooking the Purcell mountains they recited their vows. We captured family enjoying the view. Then I chased the wedding party around the mountain till it was time to start celebrating at the Whitetooth Grill. The staff put on an amazing buffet style meal that all the guests enjoyed. The kids had their own candy buffet that I am sure kept them dancing for a while during the stomper of a party.
