Denver wanted the most amazing proposal for Rebekah and for it to be a surprise. Rebekah had never flown in a helicopter before so this was a good reason to take a tour. Denver used to work at Alpine Helicopters in Golden and planned the flight with them. I pretended to be just another photographer along for the ride, who needed people in a few pictures. They agreed. Alpine flew us to a remote hanging lake in the Purcell mountains. It overlooked Glacier National park. Stunning. It was definitely perfect and she did say ‘Yes’.
