Hillside Lodge was the stunning back drop for Zoe and Rich’s nuptials. Mountain weather did not the dampen the mood but only added to the excitement of the adventure they were continuing on. I met the couple earlier this year to take their engagement photos by the Kicking Horse River. It was then I got a sense of what was important about their day. The inclusion of Zoe’s daughter Mya. Children and Dogs were a big part of this couples day which attributed to the laughter and joy that seemed to be contagious through out every moment. The barn at Hillside was dressed up with a mountain bike theme and the food catered by The White Tooth Bistro. A tradition started by Mya had all the guests enjoying the lovely homemade cupcakes before dinner. Yes it rained and it poured but not with out sunshine in between and with out theses two elements you can not have a rainbow. Under that rainbow was the pot of gold we all look for. Love.
